Complete 1979 World Vacation Tour show!
A while back, a friend of the Stadium Studios, Bob Mondoki sent me an e-mail looking to have a couple of tapes transferred. Here we have the first of the two shows:
This is Van Halen on their first headlining tour. This show was recorded during the 2nd North American leg of the World Vacation Tour in 1979. The sound is very good audience. No “remastering” of any kind has been done to this fine show. There is a little tape flutter in the first song and there is a mixing of the tape flip towards after the end of Feel Your Love Tonight. Other than that, this is a complete show transferred from tape at 24 bit / 48 kHz direct!
